June 2020
Hello <<First Name>>,

Even as the world begins to reopen from quarantine, we understand that this has been a very difficult time for many of us. During this ongoing state of upheaval, we hope you and your loved ones have stayed safe and healthy, and we are excited to be able to share some good news and exciting upcoming events.

We've been so touched by the continued support and desire to stay connected throughout our organization and across other organizations as well. It seems the more the world presses down, the more we, and organizations like ours, are reaching out - to push back, to stick together and to continue connecting people to resources, information and communities of hope in times of need. We are truly inspired by the compassion and perseverance of our global community.

MEMBER HIGHLIGHT: Oltre la Ricerca
Oltre la ricerca is a non profit organization founded in Rimini (northern Italy) in 2012 by Francesca Gabellini, after the loss of her husband Luca, affected by pancreatic cancer. Luca was 42 years old when he passed away, leaving a 6 month old son. Francesca experienced many issues during Lusa’s illness and she is now determined to turn on the light for pancreatic cancer patients.

JUNE SOCIAL POST:
Happy Fathers Day

This month’s message is dedicated to Father's Day . … Please feel free to copy this text and use the image in your upcoming social posts.

FACEBOOK/INSTAGRAM POST

Many countries around the world will be celebrating father's day this week, and #WPCC would like to take a moment to recognize all the fathers across our global community.

To the fathers still with us, we support you. To the father's we've loved and lost, we remember you. To the fathers of others, we thank you.

Let's allow this celebration to serve as a reminder to educate yourself and your loved ones on the risks and symptoms of pancreatic cancer.  Know your body. Know the symptoms. No exception.

Happy father's day!

GLOBAL CANCER ORGANIZATIONS SURVEY

Thank you to everyone who participated in the global cancer organizations’ survey, a joint initiative by the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition, the Lymphoma Coalition, the World Ovarian Cancer Coalition, the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition and the Advanced Breast Cancer Global Alliance.  We are excited to share the survey report which highlights the impact of COVID-19 on cancer patient organizations’ programs, fundraising and operations.  We hope the survey results and having a common message that we can all use about the concerns of COVID-19 are helpful to you.
