Welcome Our Newest Member, Pancreatic Cancer Europe!

PCE aims at bringing together relevant stakeholders to advocate for an improvement in the standard of care for patients with pancreatic cancer, by addressing the existing gaps related to the lack of awareness, diagnosis and data collection. Spun off by a strong political will to address the devastating impact of pancreatic cancer, Pancreatic Cancer Europe aims at reversing the trend of pancreatic cancer impact by:
  • Increasing PC research and political support
  • Raising lay and medical awareness by developing awareness tools and campaigns
  • Enabling a forum of exchange between national stakeholders
Check out PCE's event that they're hosting an online European event about the nutrition and quality of life in pancreatic cancer patients on WPCD (18 Nov) from 15:30-17:00 CET. Learn more & register here.

The COVID19 vaccine rollout has presented many challenges, not least of which for those already coping with a cancer diagnosis.

Our free Cancer and COVID19 Vaccine event will seek to answer your questions from the perspectives of an Immunologist, Haematologist, Oncologist, and Psychologist.

We will also highlight examples of good practice from our members around the world in this interactive event.

Astrazeneca Campaign: New Normal, Same Cancer 2.0

Cancer care worldwide has been disrupted by COVID-19. There is a global need to raise awareness about the need to 'go back’ – to urge people who have symptoms, have paused treatment or cancelled routine screening.
In 2020, AstraZeneca co-created the New Normal, Same Cancer campaign to support diagnosed patients to re-engage with medical settings, encourage screening and diagnosis, and advance policy for the benefit of patient care. The next phase of the campaign builds on these objectives, with a key message of:
Don’t wait. Contact your doctor. Get checked.
Help amplify this message by downloading the Astrazeneca assets HERE.
