I know. I know.
I've just had a few things going on.
Don't worry. I haven't given up on this medium. I believe if there is one app we aren't going to delete, it's email.
I just wrapped the website, press and advertisement photographs for the reopening of The Museum of Modern Art. What an incredible experience. It was an intense 4 day shoot spanning two weeks. I'm still processing what happened. Some photos have started going up on the website. Thank you Nick Mehedin and Takeshi Hayashi for the assist. Desmond Reich for the digital capture and Zach Vitale for the impeccable post production. Special thank you to Liz McClean for the styling and Katie Olsen for casting all the people who came and posed as museum goers.

I'll post even more about this soon!

Here are a few screenshots:

Cabin Porn Inside is officially out. I photographed the front and back cover.
I think the back cover is underrated and should be more appreciated.

Lumberland Cabin made the inside. RIP Lumberland Cabin.
I kinda sorta not really sometimes miss you.

Bedmounds the book has officially gone to press.
Printing date is next week and we should have books in the US by the end of November. Lots more info soon!

Listen: Ologies - Acarology (TICKS) - I was just diagnosed with Lyme disease which probably explains why I have felt like shit for the past six months. I'm almost done with my course of antibiotics and I fell about a million times better. Anyway... Ask five people what they know about Lyme and you'll get five different answers. I say listen to this podcast and get some information from an actual tick expert and not your friends friend named Sunshine who is cooking homeopathic tincture in his basement.

Watch - El Camino - I randomly just watched the entire 5 seasons of Breaking Bad again and I had no idea they were going to put out this movie so this worked out perfect. Breaking Bad is a B+ show at best. It's crazy when people say it's one of the best shows of all time. Those people are wrong. It does have some incredible moments but the women characters are garbage. Anything with Skylar is some of the most annoying TV ever made. It's a shame,  Anna Gunn is a great actor but her character is so incredibly annoying. This article pretty much sums it up. Anyway, El Camino picks up where Breaking Bad ends. It's not so much a movie but a 2 hour wrap up to Jessie's character. I liked it!

Read - Bryan Formhals Newsletter - If you like the concept of a weekly newsletter sign up to this. One of the best out there hands down. Topics include photography and existentialism.

Buy - 125 Mapes Road - Be my neighbor! It's a definitely a fixer upper but the bones look promising. You get 25 acres of totally secluded land. Make a low offer. I don't think this will last long.
I'm interested in trying to attract more people to Lumberland so I am going to feature a house for sale in Lumberland in every email going forward. If you have questions about making the leap upstate let me know and i'll answer your questions. And if you'd like a real estate agent recommendation I know the perfect person.

Lastly, is anyone going to Adobe Max in LA in November? They invited me to check it out and make some posts about it (#influencer style).
I'm looking forward to getting out to LA for a few days. Let me know if you want to hang out and take some photos.

See you soon!
