I just spent last week in Los Angeles attending Adobe Max**. I had a really great time, I learned a ton and met a group of really amazing artists. I'll follow up with more details about that trip in my next Newsletter but in the meantime, I want to send this email I meant to send last week but got distracted!
Adobe put me up at the Standard Downtown LA. I've stayed there a number of times over the years but I'll never forget the first time. It was May 2, 2011. I had just returned from a photo shoot in the desert and I wanted to spend a few days in Los Angeles. I remember checking in and making one of my #view photographs and then I turned on the T.V.
It was 8:35pm PST
This is one of those days/times/places that is forever etched in my mind.
Last week I released an Adjustable Clamping lever for the Profoto B10 and B10 plus. This incredibly niche product is for the few thousand people in the world who own and operate these lights and hate the original knob that it comes with.
Special thank you to Jared Lamanna and Churchill Classic Cars for helping me measure, purchase and assemble the pieces we needed in order to create this.
If you want to buy one or know anyone who might be interested send them this link.
Mark your calendar!
This Saturday I am in show with a group of incredible artists.
We're taking over Churchill Classic Cars and showing some art. If you're looking for a reason to get out of the city this weekend this will give you a mission!
Lots of Airbnb's in the area or check to see if The Stickett Inn has any rooms left.
** Adobe paid for me to attend MAX. You can view a few stories I made for them on my Instagram in the Highlights Tab as well as the post I made on Monday November, 11th. I will also be discussing my attendance in more detail in the next newsletter.
