March gets off to a world-historical start, with the Government of Malta reiterating its commitment to leading the world in use of the blockchain for public services: the Ministry for Education and Employment announced that it is rolling out Blockcerts blockchain credentials to all educational institutions across the country. The Caribbean Examinations Council continues to demonstrate the power of Blockcerts at a regional scale for higher education and examination results. And Learning Machine SVP Natalie Smolenski is named a top 100 identity influencer for 2019.


The Republic of Malta
After successfully completing the world’s first national pilot of Blockcerts blockchain credentials, the Republic of Malta and Learning Machine jointly announced that the Maltese Ministry for Education and Employment has begun a multi-year roll out of Blockcerts to all Maltese educational institutions.

The Caribbean Examinations Council
The CXC has a comprehensive suite of qualifications to meet the educational and workforce development needs of the Caribbean region. In 2018 they began issuing examination results to test takers across 16 participating counties, and they are expanding their Blockcerts rollout throughout 2019.
