NCI held our Steering Committee elections in late 2022 and members voted in droves for a great selection of candidates. We would like to thank all who stood for election, and all who voted, for your interest in our organisation. We'll welcome our new-look Steering Committee to our first quarterly meeting in February. You can check out our fresh (and some familiar) faces for NCI 2023-2024 on our site.

NCI was fortunate to be represented at the recent Cop15 global biodiversity framework event by Steering Committee Chair Conor Kretsch of Cohab Initiative and our Business For Biodiversity Ireland lead Lucy Gaffney, who has published a blog on her key takeaways from the summit on the BFBI site - access a link below.

And keep an eye out for news of our AGM coming soon - all NCI members will be invited to attend for the presentation of our annual report and future strategy.
Dr Martha O Hagan, Assoc Prof of Finance at Trinity College Dublin, left, and Dr Kirstie McAdoo, Head of Education and Research at Airfield Estate are among the newly elected NCI Steering Committee members joining us on our journey to promote the integration of natural capital approaches into Irish policy. Several long-standing members return alongside new faces for a strong committee representing diverse sectors of society including academia, NGOs, the public and private sectors and independent. You can read all team profiles on our site HERE.
