Africa For Christ has a long standing phrase which our founder Terry Rae implemented: "No report no support!" Every second month our Church Planters are required to submit reports concerning their personal and ministry progress. It's a great joy to share extracts of their feedback below. Despite these challenging times there is much to rejoice over! Our God is good and faithful - all the time!
Innocent, one of our Church Planters living in Good Hope Village near East London in the Eastern Cape writes: "I thank the Lord for what I have learnt from the AFC Adopt A Village program. I selected 7 people to train them in Discovery Bible Study .. within a short space of time all of them started one group and after 2 months one had started another 3 ... and then it multiplied and now she has 10 groups and her daughter has started another 4 ... God has blessed us with 12 souls who are born again but sadly 2 of them passed away to heaven during the Covid time. We now have 32 groups with 16 leaders." Praise the Lord!

The need for food and clothing remains great. The lines are long. Through generous donors we have been able to run a number of soup kitchens and provide warm clothing. Please let us know if you would like to assist our Church Planters in this way. The Church is truly being the hands and feet of Jesus in these desperate times!
Our AFC Coordinator Loyiso shared the following story: "Last week I was in driving in Motherwell (a suburb in Port Elizabeth Eastern Cape) when I was stopped by another group of young men who are using a drug called "tik". They claimed that they know me and at that time I did not know them at all, then I had an appointment Thursday with them to know them better. Today I have another appointment with them for a Discovery Bible Study. I felt so amazed because I was just approached by people I do not know and they are so willing to change and hungry for the word of God."
We Praise God for:
- provision of food and clothing to the needy
- our Church Planters who have really stepped up in meeting the needs of their communities
- the Lord's protection upon our Church Planters' health
Please pray for:
- South Africa and Africa: for God's mercy and protection: the Covid virus has not peaked yet
- wisdom for our Church Planters: the need is great and the resources are limited
- continued growth of the Discovery Bible Study groups
With much appreciation for your partnership and prayers
