Hello,
There's a nip in the air and we're settling in for a lovely autumn. It's my favorite season. Perfect weather for curling up with a good book. Who am I kidding? I think any season is perfect for reading! Have you seen our Staff Picks on the catalog?
Are you a video gamer? We now check out games for PlayStation 4, XBox One, and Nintendo Switch! Games check out for two weeks.
I'm happy to share that our October calendar of events is nearly as full as last year. Sure, our programs are virtual, but that doesn't mean there's less to do. In fact, it often means that you can access library events at your convenience, as well as when they're happening live.
Throughout October we are celebrating science with Ozaukee County's 2020 Big Read in collaboration with W. J. Niederkorn Public Library in Port Washington, Cedarburg Public Library, and U.S.S. Liberty Memorial Library in Grafton. The featured book is Lab Girl by Hope Jahren. FLWL book discussions are Thursday, October 22, at 6:30pm, and Friday, October 23, at 9:30am.
There's even a science-related book discussion for 1st to 3rd graders. Zoey & Sassafras: The Pod and the Bog by Asia Citro will be discussed Monday, October 19, at 4pm.
Masks are required for anyone over the age of five in the library. If you prefer not to come into the library, contactless curbside pickup will continue. Call 262-242-2593, option 2, to schedule your pickup.
There is so much to discover at Frank L. Weyenberg Library. Please visit us online at www.flwlib.org.

Rachel Muchin Young, Library Director
P.S. Please send this email to friends so they, too, can be up to date on the latest news from Frank L. Weyenberg Library. If they email me, I will add their name to the list for this monthly eNewsletter.
