Hello and Happy September!
It's National Library Card Sign-Up Month. We're offering FREE replacement library cards. Lose yours? We'll replace it for free. Want a card with a keytag? Just stop at the Checkout Desk. Still carrying an old Easi-Cat card? We'll replace that, too. And when you're here, add your name to the raffle for some Frank L. Weyenberg Library Swag!

We've also scheduled some great programs. Storytimes at the Thiensville Village Market will continue through October 15, and our Wednesday morning Family Storytimes at the Library are back. Of course, our Saturday morning Family Storytimes continue, too. Check out our monthly Parachute Play (now Mondays) and Messy Monday events for pre-readers, and Crazy 8s Math Club, Unlock-the-Box and LEGO Club events for older children.

We're starting the month with the Laurentian Great Lakes: a Regional Hotspot of Climate Change Tuesday, September 3. Later in the week join us for Hook, Yarn & Stitch, our fiber arts group, an iCan! Smartphone Basics class, and a Movie Matinee (see Rebel Wilson in Isn't It Romantic).  And that's just the first week of the month!

Now that we're open Sunday afternoons again, look for documentary films the second Sunday of the month, classic films the third Sunday, and Fine Arts events. Hear singer/songwriter Craig Siemsen Sunday, September 22, at 2pm. New this year are Cultural Conversations. No need to bemoan Packers bye weeks or late games. There's always something to do Sunday afternoons at Frank L. Weyenberg Library.

Questions? Comments? Concerns? Contact me anytime at 262-242-2593, ext. 331, or via email at
