In the last two years we've repurposed many spaces in the library to offer additional services. Our latest change is all about experiences, from underwater exploration to the heights of Mount Everest. Solve puzzles, go fishing, battle Darth Vader. All these experiences come to life with our new Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Space, provided for us with a grant from the Junior Woman's Club of Mequon-Thiensville. Patrons must be at least 12 years old to use the Virtual Reality glasses. Read our Virtual Reality Policy here. Visit the Reference Desk for details.

Did you know that you can check out Discovery Kits to explore at home? Among the kits are coding games, electronic circuitry, a microscope, a telescope, musical instruments, and more. To find out more about the kits, visit the library or log onto the online catalog and search Discovery Kit.

Visit the library in November and December to view the League of Milwaukee Artists' gallery display. The LMA Artists Reception will be Saturday, November 9, Noon to 2pm. Then join us for live art demonstrations, November 10 through 16. Click here for a complete list of events.

There is so much to discover at Frank L. Weyenberg Library. Please visit us in real life or online. We'd love to help.

Then we add programs for teens which vary from Make & Take Crafts to Exam Crams which coincide with Homestead High School's exam schedules.
