February 1, 2020

So excited about February! This is the month when our 2020 Fine Arts Series kicks off with the all female trio, The WhiskeyBelles, Sunday, February 23, at 2pm!

Immediately following February, March 1, to be exact, will be our first Cultural Conversation of the year. Our speaker is Arthur Cyr from Carthage College addressing “Presidential Politics and Foreign Policy.”  Both series are sponsored by the Weyenberg Public Library Foundation, and are free and open to the public.

Check our events calendar for some great technology programs. Smartphones are the focus of iCan! programs in February. Click on these program dates for details: February 6 and February 20. No registration required. Everyone is welcome. lf you have other questions, drop in to the Tolzman Community Room Wednesday, February 19, 2 to 3 pm, for personalized tech support at Wednesday 1-O-1.

There is so much to discover at Frank L. Weyenberg Library. Please visit us in real life or online.

Presidential Politics & Foreign Policy
Conventional wisdom holds that foreign policy has little or no impact on our presidential elections, but our history starting in 1940 and World War II indicates otherwise. What insights does history provide regarding the 2020 election year? Is foreign policy becoming more or less important in campaign and election dynamics?
