CLEVER Cities are innovative, green and inclusive
Hamburg, London and Milan have decided to create clever cities. Together, local governments, civil society, universities and businesses are creating nature-based interventions for urban regeneration in cities across Europe, South America and China.
Sfântu Gheorghe, Quito, Madrid, Belgrade, Larissa and Malmö will replicate and tailor the nature-based solutions to their local needs through collaboratively developed roadmaps, guidance on governance, business and financial models.
Urban development with nature in the forefront is the best choice for our economies, environment and societies. Join us on our journey as we transform urban districts into greener spaces that work better for people and communities, inform European policy-making and ultimately work for the uptake of nature-based solutions in urban planning world-wide.
