Special Film Presentation
"Tibetan Ritual Dance"
This Sunday Lama Losang will present his feature-length documentary film, "Tibetan Ritual Dance."  Lama Losang produced this film to preserve precious video recordings of ritual dance performances at Namgyal Monastery in Dharamshala, India.  You will hear Lama Losang narrate in Tibetan (with English subtitles) and see him perform many sacred dances.  In honor of Losar, he presented the film to His Holiness the Dalai Lama this past week!

The film runs 1 hour 30 minutes, and we will have 30 minutes of Q & A following the film with Lama Losang about its production.

We hope to see you there!

Please note: This Sunday’s sangha will not be recorded due to licensing of the film.

*Possibly Being Rescheduled*

This event might be rescheduled - please email if interested in attending, and we can confirm the event status.

We are pleased to let you know that Sr. Sharifa Vernice Meytung, a CTBC Leadership Team member for Dharma in Action initiatives, was recently elected a Board member of the Philadelphia Buddhist Association.  We will share special PBA events that may be of interest to you.

Each month PBA hosts a Dharma discussion on a Buddhist sutra.  All are welcome and no prior experience is required.  On Saturday, March 5, 9:30 am ET the topic will be the continuation of PBA's fall series on the Mahayana Sutra, The Platform Sutra, also known as The Sutra of Hui-Neng. In this series of sutra studies, you can learn about the fundamental figure in Zen history, Hui-Neng (638-713), who was the sixth patriarch of Zen in China, and considered the father of the Zen tradition.
