Good morning, afternoon, or evening,
I will be honest and say that detoxing can be a tad bit uncomfortable even for me. I have been challenged at different stages of my stewardship journey. God works on me before He challenges me to help you. I should have put this at the beginning of the detox but it didn’t come to me like that so I figured there must be a reason. I am a Christian. Even my book is formatted in a way where you can see in the S.O.A.P. method. (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer). You all didn’t get a newsletter this morning because I didn’t know the next step. That’s when God hit me with this scripture.
'And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. '

God will provide very unique instructions for your journey. I have had two major turning points. First, I fasted from Wendy’s in college during lent. Second, I committed to tithing no matter what starting July 2010. I can say with complete confidence that these two events changed my life forever. Are there different moments? Yes. But these were the ones where God pushed me to a different level. So that is my challenge for you today and this week.
- Ask God, “What is the next thing I need to do to take my finances to the next level?”
