Good morning, afternoon, or evening,
So how is it going this month? You know I have to check in on your progress this year. Are you on track with your goals? This year is moving pretty fast to me. Time has no respect for people. The clock will just continue to tick whether we want it to or not. I like the consistency of time. You know there will always be 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, and 24 hours in a day.
If you know me well, you know that sports is my first love. I would spend HOURS watching and playing basketball growing up by myself or with my cousins. Right now, it is “March Madness”. March Madness is a basketball tournament for college basketball teams. The tournament is pretty simple, win or go home. Each team has 40 minutes to put on the best performance for today to survive. What if our life was sudden death? We only have 24 hours to survive. What if we had to make great decisions today in order to be granted tomorrow? Would we live differently? I would hope so. There are definitely some barriers that each of us have to deal with that may be internal or external. However, that isn’t an excuse for us to give up. Honestly, there is never an excuse to give up. Giving up and choosing to go a different direction are two completely different things. I would challenge you to never give up on your finances. Why? We will need money from the day we are born until the day we are buried. It is too risky to throw in the towel. Hold your head up, dust yourself off, and keep pushing.
Mathew 6: 34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Are you looking forward to tomorrow without taking care of today? Are you making wise decisions today that would actually help tomorrow? So my challenge to you is to do your best today. Do not wait until tomorrow. I’m talking to myself when I tell you this last thing. Do not let procrastination or laziness keep you from achieving your goals. Each day is a gift that we should appreciate. We need to do a better job of acting like it. I know I do.
I have a special treat for you this week. I'm going to sit down and have a conversation with a current client. We have worked together for the last year and it has been amazing watching her journey. Get an inside look of what is like on coaching with Latrisa. :) I hope you will join me. The conversation for sure will be in PughFC Community this Wednesday at 8:00PM. So go ahead and join if you want to catch this conversation.
See you next week...
