The Thursday Show
What a ball we will have.
The last took place the eve before storm Eunice cleared away the cobwebs. What a spell we did cast....
A massive thank you to all the magical artists involved and of course the wonderful presence of the audience. So excited for the next one....

The Thursday Show

‘Are you an artist working with performance? Does your work need an audience? Why not share it at The Thursday Show' A regular event taking place SHIFT
& tactileBOSCH situated in the Capitol Centre, Cardiff.

The Thursday Show is an opportunity for artists working with performance to share their work with a live audience. Whether it's a finished piece or a work in progress, we want to hear from you. We host performances of any duration, including video and sonic works. We offer a great space, technical support, and an enthusiastic audience. It’s an opportunity to discuss your work with other artists, get feedback, and try out new ideas.

If you have a piece of work that you want to share, please get in touch, providing us with a brief description of what you want to do, including any elements of your work that might be triggering. (This is not to censure your work, but rather so that we can provide the appropriate warnings to audiences) and up to three images and or website/online links.

Send proposals through to– deadline midnight 19/03/2022

March 2022

If you have ever been interested in experimenting with sound and music but haven’t known where to start then Noisestruck is for you! Noisestruck is a series of free workshops exploring experimental sound, through which participants will learn a range of skills and techniques they can use to play around with all things audio.
Sessions will range from teaching basic recording and editing skills, to an introduction to sound hacking (creating your own microphones), and more performative forms of sound like fluxus. By the end of the sessions participants will have gained a toolbox of sound skills they can use however they like, and the opportunity to create their own sound work. No prior knowledge or experience of sound is required, and all are welcome!
If you are interested but would like to ask any questions before signing up, please get in touch with Heledd at:
This project has been kindly supported by Community Music Wales and Shift Cardiff.
