The City of Salisbury recently announced that it has been named a 2020 Tree City by the Arbor Day Foundation!

Additionally, The City of Salisbury has created a Recommended Tree List for those looking to plant trees within the City. These are trees that will do exceptionally well in our area!

This fall, GreenSBY's Green Team will be partnering with the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce for another Clean-Up event on
October 24th ! For the safety of all participants, pre-registration will be required as there will be a limited number volunteer spots available.

Green Team

Join The Next Meeting!

The Green Team will act in an advisory capacity to: help develop policies, assist with identifying grant opportunities, implement programs, and assist with educational opportunities for staff and community leaders.  The Green Team shall consist of five (5) residents of the City of Salisbury, who shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council to serve staggered terms of three (3) years.  The members may include municipal staff, elected officials and volunteers, members of community boards and commissions, citizen leaders, and representatives from community organizations.

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm at the Government Office Building, located at 125 North Division Street, Salisbury.

Currently, due to the COVID-19 public health crisis, meetings are being held virtually using the Zoom platform. Please check the city website for the updated Zoom link.
