Overheard on Podcasting, Seriously Live
|
|
Last week Stevon Lewis, a licensed psychotherapist, corporate consultant, speaker, and host of How to Talk to [High Achievers] About Anything joined to discuss growing your brand through podcasting.
Some great takeaways are:
- Podcasting is an extension of the work that you do outside of it. The content you create should reflect your passions. This will also make your 'why' clearer and the information you share cohesive with your brand.
- Find your lane, and stick with it. Do what you do and do it well by teaming up with people that complement your strengths and provide the correct positioning for you to showcase your skills.
- Do NOT default to negativity! Remember that you've done things in life that have already made you successful. Your podcast is one of many new things you've tried and can succeed at.
