Action at All Saints’

2023 Pledge Campaign continues!

Each fall, we ask everyone to estimate your financial contributions to the church for the coming year. Sharing your intentions helps us plan our budget. Next year will be an important one in the history of our church as we call a new rector. Please help us put our best foot forward by being generous with your giving. You can submit your 2023 pledge online (where you can also set up recurring gifts via your credit card) or by filling out a pledge card. Please submit your pledge no later than Nov. 13. Thank you!

Third Service Interest

Thank you to everyone who responded to the question regarding the possibility of adding a third worship service option on Sundays. The final results were 18 people willing to attend and volunteer at a 9 AM service, and 14 people for a 4 PM (including people who indicated that either would work for them). This is far short of the commitment of 60 needed to proceed at this time. However, the response gives very important information about where All Saints' is presently and will be very helpful for future planning, including in All Saints' searches for a permanent Music Ministry Director and the next Rector.

Sunday Adult Forum

As part of the interim period of a church, we are encouraged to review All Saints’ heritage. As we prepare to call a new rector we take time to review how the congregation has been shaped and formed. The congregation’s heritage, both corporate and individual, is the foundation upon which the present rests.  Understanding our heritage will help us also look to the future.

Sessions will be held in the Parish Hall after the 10:00 a.m. service (approximately 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)

The Truth and Reconciliation committee will host its next Readings and Conversations gathering on the book "Homegoing" on Friday, December 2nd at 7:00 p.m., at All Saints’. Vogue states, “… No novel has better illustrated the way in which racism became institutionalized in this country.”

Please join us as we rediscover the past and how it influences our lives today. If you would like to participate in this conversation about Homegoing, please RSVP to Tracy Boyd You are encouraged to bring a friend, or two!  When purchasing the book, consider supporting Black-owned businesses.

Volunteer Opportunity

When you hear or see a call for volunteers, are your immediate thoughts: I have nothing of value to offer…there are other people more qualified than me…serving will require time or skills I don’t have…I’ll get assigned to a task I don’t enjoy? If any of these concerns apply to you, All Saints' has you covered. We are looking to identify parishioners who possess skills or knowledge in several areas that will enhance our stewardship for our buildings and grounds. We are looking for parishioners who have familiarity with HVAC, IT, plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, roofing, +….. and use this in-house expertise to help in assessing whether acute issues involving our facilities could be handled with available volunteers or should be referred to our commercial vendors. Please note if you have skills not mentioned above that you feel would benefit All Saints', we’d love to hear from you too! This compilation of in-house trade knowledge would provide both a valuable and reassuring resource of counsel to the Rector and Junior Warden when issues occasionally arise.

Please contact Mark Walker,, if you are interested in sharing your knowledge or have any questions, comments or suggestions regarding this important stewardship opportunity.
