Happy Holidays From Furry Freight!

Mocha is really excited for the holidays this year since she is now spending it in her new furever home in the Pacific Northwest. She was one of 321 lucky pets that we transported in 2021 from an overpopulated area where she was at risk of euthanasia due to overpopulation. Now, thanks to our supporters, her biggest worry is what Santa is going to bring her.

It’s also your last chance to donate $25 or more to help save more shelter pets and receive a free gift from a Central Oregon business. This week Avid Cider is sponsoring a free pint, Sun River Resort is offering a chance to win a winter getaway for 2, and Worthy Brewing will give you a $10 gift card plus a chance at an additional $125 gift card! It’s your last chance to pick up your homemade Furry Freight Dog Treats at Bend Pet Express! Treat your pup and help save more shelter pets!

Want to join our team of rescue drivers? We are looking for dependable volunteers that don’t mind a long distance road trip to help save more shelter pets in overpopulated areas. Time commitment is Friday morning- Sunday up to once per month and involves overnight driving of our van switching off with a second driver. Must be 21 + and experience handling dogs is a plus as we get the dogs out to walk during transport. Hotel night and transportation costs are covered. Email to learn more.

Interested in helping but not up for the drive? Check out our website for other ways to help!

Happy Holidays from Charlie, formerly at risk in Tulsa Oklahoma, now a resident of Oregon thanks to your support!

As we wrap up 2021 and look ahead to where the road will take us next, we can’t help but glance into the rear view and see all of the support we have received over the past few years. With your help we have now transported 768 at risk pets to their new families in the Pacific Northwest. This year we were also able to start our Spay It Forward program to help spay mama dogs in very overpopulated Oklahoma when our partners are called to help place unwanted puppies. Between our Shelter Transport program and our Spay It Forward program we are working very hard to end the euthanasia of adoptable pets. Thank you for believing in us and thank you for saving the underdogs. Cheers to a busy 2022 and saving more shelter pets, one road trip at a time.
