  • LUCIENNE, SMITH VINEYARD, Santa Lucia Highlands, $45.99

Lucienne wines showcase the distinct characteristics of Pinot Noir from each of our Santa Lucia Highlands estate vineyards: Lone Oak, Doctor’s, Smith and Hook. The wines take their name from Santa Lucia, the namesake of the appellation and patron saint of light; her crown of candles graces the wine label. These vineyard-designated releases owe their singular nature to variations in climate, topography, and wind as well as an array of clonal selections. The wines are rich, nuanced expressions of the vineyards they come from.
A riper and more robust Pinot Noir, with layers of cherry and citrus fruits along with brown spice and tones of mushroom and earth. The wine’s balanced acidity and smooth tannins lead to a round, approachably soft mouthfeel and a lingering finish. The wines are focused and elegant with a silky mouthfeel and pure velvety Pinot Noir flavors.

  • CHEMISTRY PINOT NOIR $22.99 SALE $19.99
The Pinot Noir fruit was cold-soaked for several days before fermenting in stainless steel and aged with 15% new oak influence prior to bottling to capture the fresh fruit characteristics.  The result is a wine with a deep, glowing garnet color, and inviting aromatics of dark berries like boysenberry and black raspberry, earth, and baking spice. The wine is bright on the front palate showing initial flavors of cranberry that evolve to tart cherry and earth with structured tannins on mid-palate and finish.
An exciting find from the depths of Chile. Deliciously long, bright, textural Pinot from cold, stony vineyards deep in the Central Valley's old glacial riverbeds. Summer fruits of red currant, raspberry and wild strawberries on the nose follow through to a juicy palate. A touch of oak adds a spicy complexity. Try with finger-licking marinated ribs, pink lamb and roasted veggies or a mushroom and chicken risotto. This “Old Man of The Valley” pinot noir is surely one to enjoy at the dinner table.
  • POPPY PINOT NOIR  $17.99 SALE $14.99

Soft and silky through the middle, crescendo on the finish leaves a juicy memory in the mouth, with proper acidity and a pleasant mouth-feel.
“This is a fresh and gently spicy, red-cherry style with a vibrant palate that offers elegant shape and approachable, grainy tannins, carrying plenty of red cherries and berries. Drink now.” 91 pts James Suckling
  • FOREFRONT PINOT NOIR  $28.99  SALE $17.99
Sourced from diverse vineyards located on the western edge of the Central Coast of California, the defining characteristic is coastal influence. San Luis Obispo County grapes from the west side of Paso Robles and pristine vineyards in Edna Valley provide a base of dense, black fruit and spice notes. With its loamy soils and cool maritime climate, Monterey County adds impeccable balance, layered red berry fruit and clean minerality.
Made from a handful of the finest vineyards, this lush and vibrant Pinot Noir displays alluring layers of blackberry jam, red cassis and Bing cherry, underscored by hints of wild game and pennyroyal that add nuance and complexity to a long, focused finish.
“Pretty, featuring floral and mineral accents to the plump plum and cherry flavors at the core, with aromatic highlights of dried lavender and orange zest. Vibrant and juicy on the finish. Drink now through 2028.” 91 pts Wine Spectator
Initial aromas of cranberry and juicy mulberry, with secondary aromas of vanilla and freshly-grated nutmeg. Bright, crisp acidity frames youthful flavors of raspberry, red cherry and sandalwood with a hint of the classic Laetitia spice. Although very approachable now, this wine will age gracefully for years to come.
  • LIEU DIT PINOT NOIR $38.99 SALE $34.99
From a very sandy vineyard site just to the west of the Sta. Rita Hills and farmed biodynamically, this pinot noir was fermented whole cluster for about two weeks before being pressed. It was then taken down to neutral barrel and rested on its lees for almost a year before being racked to tank, filtered, and bottled. With such a large influence of whole cluster in the wine, the aromatics show lots of wild cherry, rose petals and clove. Similar notes show on the palate with vibrant red fruit flavors, great acidity and balance.
