OLD vs NEW

WINE SELECTIONS:

Roncier Pinot Noir, Burgundy  $12.99
Ripe red berry fruits with juicy, racy acidity and a hint of black pepper. The mouth is fresh with good acidity, tannins are low making for a light mouthfeel and silky textured bistro style wine.

Julia Bertram Handwerk Spatburgunder, Ahr Valley, Germany $31.99
Partial stem inclusion with a seven-day maceration until spontaneous fermentation started, then pressed and aged in neutral French oak from Meyer-Näkel. Let’s call this spätburgunder a gateburgunder—a gateway drug to the rest of Julia’s range. It’s a bowl of cherries with a leafy edge and a kiss of cinnamon spice. It’s more structured than previous vintages, a bit less overt, but every bit delicious and succulent.

Chemistry Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, OR  $22.99  SALE $19.99
The Chemistry Pinot Noir is no exception. Sourced from premier sites in the Willamette Valley, this wine is bright garnet in color thanks to the warm vintage. Aromatics of plum and blueberry lead to a lush and juicy palate with silky tannins that build to a structured finish.

Folly Of The Beast, Central Coast, CA   $16.99
It’s our mission – our madness, if you will – to consistently deliver impossibly good 100% Pinot Noir at an unrivaled price. To create this white whale of the wine world, we went to California’s Central Coast - where the foggy mornings and cool evenings have a favorable effect on the heart breaker grape. A certain amount of skill and tenacity is essential to produce a Pinot of this stature - and Folly of the Beast is proof that a little madness pays off. Aged in 30% new French oak for 12 months to enhance notes of sweet spice, this round Pinot pairs nicely with pork, pizza and cheeses.
