Our first AGM
This is a reminder that our first AGM is next Tuesday the 20th of August at the Eruption Bar in Lyttelton from 6-8pm. We will cover the official requirements of an AGM (financial summary, annual report, etc) as well as provide a project update. Shareholders and the wider community are welcome to attend. Shareholder can appoint one director to the Collett’s Corner Ltd board. If you would like to be considered as a director to represent the shareholders, please send me your name and a short bio by August 20th (firstname.lastname@example.org). Candidates will have an opportunity to introduce themselves at the AGM if they would like to. If they are not present I will read out their bio at the meeting. After the AGM I will circulate an email to all shareholders with a list of the candidates along with voting details.
In order for us to take on debt, banks require us to have the building pre-leased and pre-sold. We have been assembling the package of material for this and will share an update at the AGM. We are aiming to have the building ready for pre-sale/lease in September, this is contingent on the bank's approval of a number of documents. We will also introduce Vicki Tahau Paton at the AGM, she is the realtor we are working with to lease the commercial spaces and sell the apartments. If you have registered your interest in the apartments you will have the first right to make an offer. The most common question is what will the apartments cost, this is one of the key details banks/valuers confirm. Right now we can say that they will sell for between $420,000-590,000.
We finished bringing on all new shareholders from the PledgeMe equity crowdfunding campaign. We have 350 shareholders of Collett’s Corner Ltd holding a total 6450 shares, full list here.
