Welcome back St. Ann Tigers!

The 2019 – 2020 school year is off to such a wonderful start! I enjoyed walking down the hallways this week and watching teachers and students embrace our school theme by letting their light shine! Our 4th grade teachers were the first team to step up and wear our costumes to greet their students each morning this week (see picture above)!

We were able to end our first week of school with a beautiful teacher led Mass this morning, followed by a decade of the rosary. Starting this school year, this is how we will always end Mass to help maintain a reverent atmosphere while students safely get back to their homeroom teachers. This way all children can be accounted for as we exit the church and enter back into the school. Our normal Wednesday all school Mass schedule will begin this coming Wednesday, August 28th at 8:05. We look forward to seeing you there!

Finally, please remember to join us in the gym for Back to School Night this coming Wednesday, August 28th at 6:30 PM (6:00 PM for Kindergarten). Thank you for your continued support of our teachers and staff members. We look forward to partnering with you for a joyful school year!

The recycling company has advised us that we will no longer receive free recycling. Many parishioners and non-parishioners alike use the bins and we were more than happy to make this service available to the community. However, in response to this change, we will be reducing the number of recycling bins to one and must restrict use to church and school only. Thank you for your cooperation.

Prayer for the New School Year

Dear Jesus,

A new school year has now begun after several weeks of summer fun.

Now as my studies begin, may I always rely on You.

Bless my teachers and my principal too. Bless my classmates in all that they do.

Open my mind and open my heart, so this new school year will have a great start.

Thanks to Prospect Hill Company for prayer.
The students at the St. Ann Young Child Center also started this week. Enjoy this photo collage of the 4 year old class.
