This is Sarah James writing from the parsonage. With the combination of coronavirus concerns and welcoming a new baby, Patrick and I (and now Julia!) haven’t been able to be as present in the physical life of the church as we’d like to be! In an effort for you to get to know us better and update you on our happenings, I thought I’d write a note each week until we are able to gather together with you again. As advised by doctors we plan to keep Julia at home for a while (besides those doctor visits and maybe some walking outside at the park) until she is a little more established.
The last two weeks with her have been such a blessing. We’ve been enjoying spending time as a family of four. She is looking all around when not snoozing away. She is growing healthy and will have had her two-week checkup by the time of this message. Big brother Patrick has been giving her lots of hugs. When we first got home from the hospital he held his arms out to me like I was just going to pass her right over!
Thank you to everyone who has been bringing us meals. We have enjoyed each of them and appreciate how they’ve allowed us to focus on time with Julia in these early days at home.
We’ll join you online for services each Sunday! The pictures this week are Julia listening to Daddy preach and Patrick flipping through the hymnal and “singing.”
