FROM THE PARSONAGE
Well here we are at the beginning of another new month!
I’m not sure about you, but we sure did enjoy that extra hour of sleep this past weekend in our house! It does take a little bit to get used to the dark arriving earlier in the evening though. The cooler weather and darker nights really make it feel like fall now.
We had a fun Halloween at home! It is a tradition in my family to have pumpkin soup and pumpkin bread on Halloween night so we made that for dinner. We set up a few little stations for Patrick so he could trick-or-treat in the house this year. He was excited to get some candy and some other little treats! As you can see here, Patrick was a banana. If you remember my note around his birthday, you’ll already know that bananas are his absolute favorite food right now. We couldn’t resist the chance to dress him like one while we still get to choose his costume! Little sister was a monkey to coordinate with her big brother!
Ben’s parents spent the night as well this weekend and joined in the fun. Some of you may have had the chance to meet them at the 11:00 service on Sunday!
