Town of Appleton Survey
2020 Comprehensive Town Plan Surveys are available at Appleton Library for all residents aged 18 and older. This survey will help guide future growth and development for the Town of Appleton. Surveys are due April 15th. There are several ways to complete the survey:
- online at https://appleton.maine.gov/ (preferred option)
- print a copy from the Town website and drop off at the Town office
- pick up a hardcopy at various locations, including Appleton Library
- or complete the survey online using the Appleton Library computers.

Thursday evenings, February 6, 13, 20 & 27, 6:00 – 8:00 pm: Tech Assist. Every Thurs. evening, we will be available to help with computer questions, and can help troubleshoot Microsoft and Google Docs issues.
Tuesday evenings, February 4, 11, 18 & 25 6:00 - 7:00 pm: Gentle Yoga Flow with Kyla. Registered students only. Next session starts January 7th for 6 weeks. Register online at https://journeytohealth.coursestorm.com.
Tuesday, February 15, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm: Jigsaw Puzzle Exchange & Chit-Chat Cafe. Bring a puzzle, take a puzzle! This is a great opportunity to clean out your gently used puzzles and get excited about a new one. Second hand puzzles and games for sale. Coffee & muffins available too!
Tuesday, February 18, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Fiber Arts Tuesday. Itching to complete that fiber arts project? Come and stitch with us on the third Tuesday of every month.
Thursday, February 20, (Time TBD): Third Thursday Talk: Human Influences on Bird Declines and What You Can Do to Help. Gary Roberts, a Registered Maine Guide and ornithologist will provide information on the declining bird population, and suggest ways we can help.
Wednesday, February 26, 7:00 - 8:00 pm: Monthly Library Board Meeting. All are welcome!

Monday, February 3, 6:00 pm: Appleton Historical Society Annual Potluck & Speaker followed by Annual Meeting at 7:00 pm. This month’s speaker is Rob Versky of Owls Head Transportation Museum. The Annual Meeting starts at 7:00 pm and will include the election of officers for 2020.
Thursday, February 6, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Vaxxed Documentary. This free showing is open to the public.
