Appleton Library remains open; however, suspends all programs until further notice.
As the progression of events occur with Covid-19 and after gathering information from Maine State Library and the Governor's office, the Appleton Library Board of Trustees has decided to suspend all programming until further notice. We will remain open during our normal hours of operation. As we continue to monitor this situation daily, we will announce any changes as they unfold.
All library circulation services will continue. If you are sick or feeling unwell, please stay home. We request that all patrons visiting the library take sensible measures by: washing their hands, not coughing/sneezing on library materials, and respecting other people's wishes regarding personal space at the library.
Library volunteers will do their best to wipe down computers, door handles, and the circulation area, as well as maintaining their own health and not subjecting patrons to any illnesses.
Hours: Tuesdays noon - 8 pm, Wednesdays 3 pm - 6 pm,
Thursdays 10 am - 3 pm & 6 pm - 8 pm, Saturdays 10 am - 1 pm
