The Bicentennial:
200 Years of Greek Independence

In honor of the Greek Bicentennial of Independence, starting at 6:30 on Wednesday, March 24, the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium will be lighted with the blue and white color of Greek Flag! The McKinley Village underpass will also be lit in blue and white at 7:20 tonight. Various other buildings around town will be lit in honor of Greek Independence. It is best to see the lights when it is dark outside. Bishop Ioannis, our Metropolis Chancellor, will be joining us tonight and tomorrow for services. After services on Thursday morning, we will also raise the Greek flag in front of the Church and sing the Doxology in honor of Greek Independence.
