Pray with us the

Small Paraklesis to the Theotokos

Join us this evening at 6:00 pm to pray the beautiful and poetic Small Paraklesis (service of supplication) to the Theotokos, the Mother of God.  As we chant the beautiful hymns and reflect on the prayers of the Virgin Mother to her Son and our God, may we pray especially for peace in the world, for a guide and protectress, and for health of both our souls and bodies.  In the words of Archbishop Nikitas, taken from the service book for the Small Paraklesis titled, Our Great Intercessor...

"Together with the author [of the service of the Small Paraklesis, Theosteriktos, also called Theophanes, the monastic] we who cry out to the Theotokos join in petitioning the one Full of Grace, and are not left in despair.  Rather, we have hope and assurance that we can be restored and made whole, through the intercessions and prayers of the Mother to her Son." - Archbishop Nikitas of Thyrateira and Great Britain

Dear Faithful of Annunciation,
As we continue to worship while still adhering to COVID-19 precautions and safety measures, please remember that regular social distancing and wearing of masks will be closely followed on our parish grounds.

Please join us in celebrating the Divine Services for the Feast of St. Timothy of the 70 Apostles on Friday, January 22nd and wishing our associate priest, Fr. Timothy, a happy nameday and many years! Χρόνια Πολλά!

Because it is being celebrated on a weekday this year (meaning, significantly less attendees), we will celebrate the services for the Feast of St. Timothy from inside our church building.  If you are able, healthy, and comfortable, we invite you to pray and celebrate with us.  Masks and social distancing protocols will, of course, be in place. As always, our services will continue to be broadcast via our live-stream.

Please look for a message later this week regarding the status of services this upcoming Sunday, January 24th.

Thank you!
With love in Christ,
Fr. James Retelas
Presiding Priest
