Services This Week at Annunciation
|
|
Dear Faithful of Annunciation,
As we continue to worship while still adhering to COVID-19 precautions and safety measures, please remember that regular social distancing and wearing of masks will be closely followed on our parish grounds.
Please join us in our church building to pray the Small Paraklesis to the Theotokos, every Wednesday at 6:00 pm. Also this week, we will be celebrating the Divine Services for the Feast of the Three Hierarchs; Saints Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian, and John Chrysostom on Saturday, January 30th.
Because it is not being celebrated on a Sunday this year (meaning, significantly less attendees), we will celebrate the services for the Feast of the Three Hierarchs from inside our church building. If you are able, healthy, and comfortable, we invite you to pray and celebrate with us. Masks and social distancing protocols will, of course, be in place.
As always, our services will continue to be broadcast via our live-stream.
We look forward to praying and celebrating the Divine Liturgy with you on Sunday, January 31st for the 15th Sunday of Luke, the Sunday of Zacchaeus.
Following the Divine Liturgy, we will pray and cut the Vasilopita invoking the blessing of our father among the saints, St. Basil the Great.
With love in Christ,
Fr. James Retelas
Presiding Priest

We look forward to praying and celebrating the Divine Liturgy with you on Sunday, January 31st for the 15th Sunday of Luke, the Sunday of Zacchaeus.
Following the Divine Liturgy, we will pray and cut the Vasilopita invoking the blessing of our father among the saints, St. Basil the Great!
Thank you to our Philoptohos Society for making this possible and safe, given our current COVID-19 protocols.
Traditionally, because of your generosity and support, donations collected by our Philoptochos at the cutting of our Vasilopita benefit the Saint Basil Academy and Orphanage.
To make a donation to the Saint Basil Academy and Orphanage, please make checks payable to “Greek Ladies Philoptochos”.
Checks may be mailed or dropped off at the Parish Office
(Attn: Philoptochos Vasilopita).
