Services This Week at Annunciation

Dear Faithful of Annunciation,
As we continue to worship while still adhering to COVID-19 precautions and safety measures, please remember that regular social distancing and wearing of masks will be closely followed on our parish grounds.

We are called to increase our prayer life and fasting during the season of Great Lent, so that we are prepared to die and be resurrected with our Lord, God, and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Please join us to pray the prescribed Lenten services throughout the season of Great Lent:

  • Great Compline | Every Monday at 6:00 pm
  • Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts | Every Wednesday at 6:00 pm
  • Salutations to the Theotokos (Χαιρετισμοί) | Every Friday at 7:00 pm

If you are able, healthy, and comfortable, we invite you to pray and celebrate with us, in person, in church.  As always, our services will continue to be broadcast via our live-stream.

May God bless you as we continue our journey through Great and Holy Lent!

With love in Christ,
Fr. James Retelas
Presiding Priest

1930- Our Annunciation Greek School was initiated at 620 N Street and continues to operate and instruct to this day.

To celebrate Annunciation’s 100th Anniversary, we are preparing a celebration album to convey the history of our Church, its organizations and wonderful families. Instead of advertisements or “best wishes” pages, we’d like our parishioners to submit their family history and treasured photos to help us tell Annunciation’s story for generations to come. We also encourage our church organizations to submit their history and contributions to Annunciation over the decades. Please submit your story and photos from March 15 through June 15, 2021.

Let’s light our path within our church with the memories of our loved ones who have passed and our prayers for the health of our family and friends.
Personalized, candle-lit bags (luminaries) will be lined in front of the iconostasis and solea and along the main aisle of the sanctuary during the Great and Holy Friday evening service.  A label will be placed on the luminary, with the name of whom you would like to recognize.

Your $10.00 donation per luminary helps to support the success of our growing dance program. Please order your luminary using this link:
