It's the beginning of the semester, Friend, and it's time to resume our studies. We hope your break was restful and refreshing.
Some are probably excited for the return of the semester, many unsure how they feel about it, and others are struggling to feel ready.
We get it. There are a lot of emotions going on and that's valid. No matter how you're feeling, we're here to be a community and not just any community, but one with a purpose.
As the writer of Hebrews encourages us,
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
This may not be the time to gather in large groups, but that doesn't stop what God is doing here at Otterbein. As we have seen before, God continues to work in our community in smaller groups, through interactions on sidewalks, and with words of encouragement.via online communication.
It may not be what we want, but the Lord is faithful through it all.
Let's focus on growth and constancy this semester, taking each day at a time and soaking up His word.
Here's what's in the pipeline for this semester!
