We are excited to announce Rev. Bobby Ellisor who is projected to be the Lead Pastor beginning July 1st.

About Rev. Ellisor
Rev. Bobby Ellisor has been in ministry for 37 years.  He last served at First United Methodist Church in Brewton, AL, for four years.  He also served at Gadsden Street United Methodist in Pensacola for five years.  While he served at First United Methodist Church in DeFuniak Springs, FL, he was the recipient of the Annual Conference Denman Evangelism Award.  Pastor Bobby has served the Alabama/West Florida Annual Conference on both district and conference levels and recently has been a member of the Pensacola District Committee on Ministry as well as the Board of Trustees for the Bay Pines district.  He is an Elder in Full Connection.
Pastor Bobby's wife has a passion for Women's Ministry and Family Ministries and is currently studying for a degree in Psychology online.  Faith works at Lighthouse Private Christian Academy and travels between the four school sites.  Matthew (17), their youngest son, is a Junior in the Lighthouse high school and plans to continue his education at South Alabama.  Pastor Bobby and Faith have two adult sons: Justin (32) is married and in the Air Force currently stationed at Hurlburt Field; Taylor (29) is the father of the two beautiful grandsons (Colby and Liam).
Pastor Bobby was born in Mobile, Al. and has mainly served our Conference in the panhandle area.  Their family home is in Navarre.  He enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.  He is the son, grandson, and great-grandson of Methodist ministers.  He graduated from Troy State University and then graduated with a Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta.  He and Faith are devout Alabama Fans, but he says he likes Auburn also.
