3Rs Recruitment Reward and Recognition

This interactive workshop provides participants with strategies they can implement into their program.

Participants will use the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement to develop or improve an existing volunteer program so that they can successfully recruit, retain and recognize the important contribution volunteers make; leading to longer retention rates and a healthy workplace culture.

This new interactive session looks at the elements of volunteer screening and how to implement them in a way that protects your oganisation from risk but doesnt leave you tied up in red tape. 

Its the perfect workshop for those looking to understand the difference between a police check, a working with childrens check, and how to effectively interview volunteers.

National Standards of Volunteer Involvement

This interactive session looks at all of the challenges inherent with navigating professional boundaries as a volunteer manager in the modern era. Should you accept facebook friend requests? Attend volunteer significant birthdays? How to intervene if a volunteer crosses a line with another staff member? 


This workshop discusses the infrastructure needed to support you in navigating professional boundaries, and how develop strong relationships with your team.

The Tuff Stuff- Volunteer Performance Counselling

While managing volunteers is usually a rewarding task – there can be challenges in volunteer management: performance counselling.

Volunteers and the Law

This full day session run by Justice Connect will provide essential training for anyone in a position of managing or coordinating volunteers. On completion of this training participants will understand how the law applies to volunteers and the implications this has for volunteer management practices.
