Jubilee,

We are so thankful for the ways you consistently show care and support for one another. Many of you have contacted us asking how you can support Wayne and Charlene in the aftermath of the house fire. We are grateful that, due to an outpouring of support from their neighbors and the larger community, they have a fridge full of meals and a place to stay for the immediate future. We plan to provide further updates to the congregation as needs arise. In the meantime, feel free to send encouraging cards or text messages.

We pray for...

April DarDar requests prayer for their family as they transition to a rental house in Clarkdale school district and attempt to sell their house in Meridian.

Lindsay Diener requests prayer for her newborn niece Pi Cornwell. She was airlifted to the children's hospital in New Orleans shortly after her birth due to a couple heart defects. She will likely need surgery in the coming days. Pi's parents are Welsey and Dominique.

Let's pray for Wayne and Charlene Gorrow as they deal with the aftermath of their home being destroyed in a fire. The insurance adjuster is scheduled to come today so we can pray for the insurance claim to move quickly.

Celebrate...

Kelsey Luke is grateful that her grandmother, Gail Ladnier, returned home this weekend after a series of health complications. She still has a long road of recovery, but she is slowly improving,

Dewayne Cooper, who was formally under Jubilee's guardianship, passed away last week. If you are interested in attending the visitation or graveside service, the details are below:

Visitation: Berry Gardner Funeral Home
Thursday, March 24 - 5:00pm to 6:00pm

Graveside: Pack Cemetery (near Toomsuba, MS)
Friday, March 25 - 11:00am
(Funeral procession will leave Berry Gardner
no later than 10:15am to arrive at service).

Jubilee's free store is not accepting donations at this time. We have been blessed with an abundance of items. We will make requests for donations as needed moving forward.

Jubilee's food pantry desperately needs your used grocery bags. Please bring your used plastic bags to donate. Thanks!

Calling all Women: You do not want to miss this Women's Retreat! Book it on your calendar now! It all starts on Friday night, April 1 with a
PARTY IN PERSIA (AKA Tall Pines at PLFC) along with the beautiful Queen Esther. Bring your friends, and pack your pajamas. See flyer for details. If you want to book a room, contact Rhoda Yoder at rhodayoder@yahoo.com by March 21. If you would like to attend Friday evening or Saturday and not need lodging, you can let Fern Diener (601-479-0476) know by March 21.

The Pastoral Search Committee (PSC) --Melody Clymer, Jeff Landis, Suzanne Opel, Lisa Shelly--met this past week to begin the process of discerning Jubilee future pastoral leadership. They reviewed the various documents that have been compiled during recent months for this purpose. Lisa serves as chair. Suzanne as secretary. Next meeting is scheduled for March 30. The PSC welcomes questions, feedback, and input from the congregation. Please feel free to contact anyone on the committee for conversation and sharing your thoughts.

Mark your calendar for Jubilee's camp out at Pine Lake Camp on April 8-10. This is a valuable time for us to catch up with one another and just enjoy spending time together. Strike out on an adventure hike, claim a shady bench by the lakeside, or show off your moves in the all-church soccer game (no soccer ability required)!
