Virtual Learning: Events for Friday, May 15th 🌎

Authors, illustrators, scientists, and others are stepping in as students around the world face school closures. Each day, I'm sharing a newsletter with a list of live-streams for students, as well as other resources. Please feel free to share this list with other educators and families. They can sign up to receive the list in their inboxes by clicking here.

The knowledge that many students are unable to view these resources due to inequity of access is heavy on my heart. Each day, I'll also feature one organization working to support the basic needs of children during these unprecedented times. Today's organization is Ronald McDonald House Charities. RMHC provides meals, housing and support for families who have children with serious illnesses and must be away from home for long periods. The organization is working on repurposing some of its spaces for health-care workers on the front lines of the crisis. You can learn more and donate here.
