How did we manage the Music Club online?

In the last Expat Cente Music Club meeting, we discussed not only the process of creating a new song but we also started to compose a new jingle for O.E.C! It was a blast!

We have learned about life balance in diet.

Great Veronika Pourová taught us how to eat. What is really healthy? Gluten or no gluten? Low carb versus low fat? Diet with or without milk? After this webinar, we can say: If you do not have any intolerance, eat a bit of everything. Otherwise contact www.nehladu.cz for more information.

What to do in Ostrava?

MAPPA Ostrava brings you few incredible suggestions for "wilderness" in the city, places, where you may not have been before.

We are not allowed to leave the Ostrava district right now, so how about to take this as an opportunity to discover some hidden and beautiful places around our city?

The band Queenie, led by Michael Kluch, will play a big online concert. The upcoming stream is a response to questions and requests from fans for an online concert, which the band decided to listen to. The show must go on!

State of Emergency until April 11

The state of emergency was extended by the government until 11 April.
Ban to travel to other districts (okres) with exceptions for medical reasons, work or to care of a relative (visits to family and friends are prohibited) remains at least to April 6; it is still compulsory to wear a respirator (at least FFP2) or mask with nano-filter in public places including public transport, shops.
The government discussed opening schools after Easter week but this has been approved yet

How to participate in the Census 2021

Everyone counts....But how does it work?

Who is affected by the Census?

You must enumerate yourself in case you have a registered stay in the Czech Republic for more than 90 days. You must also fill in the form if you have been granted asylum or you have stayed in our territory at midnight from 26 to 27 March 2021. Minors and people who are not competent to perform legal acts can be filled in by another adult member of the household. The Census does not apply to foreigners who have been in the Czech Republic for less than 90 days (for example tourists).
