What is happening in Ostrava in JULY?
On the first day of July, another year of the popular "Léto na Masarykáči" starts! 🌞
Throughout the summer, you and your little ones can look forward to a varied program, a multifunctional sports ground and a sitting area with a tempting summer offer in a tent.
On July 11, the best fruits from Africa will come to Ostrava again! What will make this day special?
It will take place in Black Kale Food where you will not only taste the great tropical fruits grown for you by small Ugandan farmers, but you will also enjoy dishes, desserts or smoothies made from African ingredients! As always, Black Kale will prepare an excellent African menu for you.
For the fourth season, you have the opportunity to visit churches, chapels and places of pilgrimage in the Moravian-Silesian region. Admission to 33 church monuments and guided tours are free. Churches are open from June 8 to November 1, 2020.
Cooltour brings you "Summer" Outdoor Cinema every Saturday. You can watch Once Upon a Time in Hollywood on July 4 or Yesterday on July 27 in the original version with Czech subtitles.
TIP FOR TRIP!!!

The reconstruction of the Libušín cottage in Pustevny, which was destroyed by fire six years ago, is finished! Although the Jurkovič's picturesque building will not open to the public until mid-July, you can already admire its beauty and the skill of craftsmen from the outside!
How to get to Pustevny? By cable car, car, on foot, by bus.
The easiest way is from Raztoka parking place for a walking tour or a cable car experience. Other ways are described here.
