We are happy to announce that our first formally-informal welcome evening for all newcomers and their families is here!

This event is for everyone who relocated to Ostrava in the last 6 months. Nevertheless, if you are here longer and still feel like a stranger, you are also warmly welcome.

Did you know that Ostrava Expat Centre organizes Czech language courses? It is a great opportunity for adapting to Ostrava, meeting new friends and last but not least learning our language.

In January we hosted the first Ostrava Women Club of 2023! We used the time to discuss OEC goals for this year - especially regarding our events. There was a delightful discussion about the upcoming event Expats and Locals. Our group also talked about our personal goals and dreams for 2023. The next event will happen on 2 February.

After a two-year hiatus, the traditional Beskydská laťka international meeting will be held again in Třinec. Once again, you can look forward to a great showjumping event made up not only of showjumping aces from all over the world, but also a visit from sports legends or an artistic performance.
