Happy New Year! I hope you all had a splendid start to 2019.
A lot of exciting things have been happening! I found out at the start of the year that I advanced to the audition round for the Master of Music program at New England Conservatory. I am busy preparing for my audition later this month.
I am thrilled to share that I have been featured in this month's issue of DownBeat Magazine! I was included in the cover story which discusses Terri Lyne Carrington's initiatives for supporting women in jazz. Read it here!

Women in Jazz Collective resumed our monthly jam sessions in partnership with Virtuosity Musical Instruments last week. It was a great time!
I started building a Women in Jazz Directory on my website. I hope it will be a useful resource for artists and educators looking to learn more about women in jazz and find opportunities to grow as musicians. Check it out!
It's been a busy start to my final semester at Berklee. I performed with the Berklee Concert Jazz Orchestra at the final Berklee High School Jazz Festival (pictured above). The BCJO is now preparing for a concert with guest artist John Hollenbeck later this month. I am taking a full course load, dotting i's and crossing t's to make sure I graduate this spring!
I am looking forward to the fabulous February ahead!
