Clementine Lovell, James Keay, and Dan Chapman

Upstairs @ The Brewhouse & Kitchen
Thursday, 16th June, 8pm

Clementine began playing accordion in pubs in County Cork aged 12 and is strongly influenced by Irish music as well as traditional English folk. She has worked for many years as a musician, producer and artistic director in the opera world. She recently returned to folk music to explore its narratives and drama with collaborator James Keay, a composer and pianist and musical director of Giffords Circus.

A self confessed balladeer, Dan composes music in response to his ongoing journey while on the road, calling various places around the world home. He has worked as a singer for over ten years travelling and collecting songs that spoke to him. Dan and Clementine met at the IFC and, discovering the special atmosphere of the club, shared a mutual feeling of coming home.
