Long-Term Care Ombudsman; Contact Ms. Beverly Broadus, 502-965-8304 if your loved ones have experienced care issues while in a Nursing Home.

SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) 270-769-8609 - Provides assistance to people making decisions regarding Medicare.

New Seniors have been added to each program on nearly a daily basis. LTADD has removed all Seniors from the wait list. Meade County Meal recipients have been offered additional vouchers to assist them during this difficult time. If you know of a Senior needing assistance, please have them contact 270-737-6082.

Due to the delay in reporting out the results of the 2020 Census; Changes to KRS 67.045 have been made by the Legislature via Senate Bill 171.

  • Please contact John David May to arrange a date and time to meet to review pertinent information regarding your 2020 Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Draft. 
     
  • A NEW round of Notice of Funds Available (NOFA) for Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funding has been released by the state. The process for applying for this opportunity and securing funding is an extended procedure. To get started and be considered for funding, your community's Mitigation Actions Forms (MAF) must be submitted in the Community Hazard Assessment and Mitigation Planning System (CHAMPS) by Friday, October 15, 2021. CHAMPS can be accessed at https://kyem.ky.gov/recovery/Pages/CHAMPS.aspx.

GRANT OPPORTUNITIES
The Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant application deadline is September 30, 2021. Contact Mr. Mike Skaggs or Mr. Bo Martin for more details. 
The Litter Abatement Grant Fund Request deadline with the Kentucky Division of Waste Management is November 1, 2021. For more info click HERE.
New availability of Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Funds have been released by the state. See more information above in the Hazard Mitigation section. 
The grant application deadline for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Economic Development, Housing, CERF, and Public Services projects is January 31, 2022. Click HERE to learn more. 
Radcliff / Elizabethtown MPO
The Radcliff/Elizabethtown MPO is seeking input on the Draft FY 2022-2026 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP). The TIP is open for public review and comment Friday, August 13 through Monday, September 13. Comments may be submitted through the Contact Form on the website below or by email to Mr. Mike Skaggs.
