  • Congratulations to Representative Jim DuPlessis! Last week, the KY County Attorneys Association awarded him the Distinguished Legislator Award for 2021. Pictured below, Jenny Oldham, Hardin County Attorney and committee presented the award for his persistence and advocacy for all 120 County Attorneys across the Commonwealth in the 2021 session. 
  • Fort Knox bid farewell to Col. C.J. King as Fort Knox Garrison Commander. Col. Lance O'Bryan assumes the new command. O'Bryan is a native of Monroe City, Missouri and has served in the Army over 20 years. Welcome to the Lincoln Trail Region, Col. Lance O'Bryan!

The Lincoln Trail ADD Board of Directors returned to in-person meetings at the ADD office for the July Board meeting. A virtual option was also available for members.

resources and programs.

 
KPAP (Kentucky Prescription Assistance Program)  Free medications to those who qualify. Contact Carol Baldwin at 270-401-3842 for more information.

Long-Term Care Ombudsman; Contact Ms. Beverly Broadus, 502-965-8304 if your loved ones have experienced care issues while in a Nursing Home.

SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) 270-769-8609 - Provides assistance to people making decisions regarding Medicare.
Did You Know?
"Aging Trivia"
New Seniors have been added to each program on nearly a daily basis. LTADD has removed all Seniors from the wait list. Meade County Meal recipients have been offered additional vouchers to assist them during this difficult time. If you know of a Senior needing assistance, please have them contact 270-737-6082.

Senior Centers are OPEN! Senior Centers reopened in all Counties on July 6.

LTADD was happy to partner with Bardstown-based, Bourbon City Thrift & Electronics, LLC to provide over $9,000 through the COVID-19 Business Relief Working Capital RLF program. The loan program offers assistance to our small businesses impacted during these challenging times.

The grant application deadline for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Community Projects and Public Facilities projects is September 1, 2021.  The application deadline for Economic Development, Housing, CERF, and Public Services is January 31, 2022. Click HERE to learn more.
