  • Congratulations to Hardin County Judge-Executive Harry Berry!
    Last month, Judge Berry was sworn in by Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron as the 2022 president of the Kentucky County Judge-Executive Association. Click HERE for local news coverage.

  • ECTC is accepting scholarship applications  for the 2022-2023 academic year. In addition to ECTC scholarships, the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship provides free tuition to eligible students for academic programs in the high demand career fields of healthcare, advanced manufacturing, transportation/logistics, business/IT, and construction/trades. Workforce News...
  • The Lincoln Trail Workforce Development Board is seeking qualified applicants to offer Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) direct services (case management and operations of the WIOA youth program). Proposals are due on February 18, 2022.

  • The Lincoln Trail Workforce Development Board is seeking proposals from qualified applicants to provide outreach activities including website maintenance, a vigorous social media presence, and other suggested materials to promote the work of the board and also promote the "retail side" - the KCC-Lincoln Trail system. Proposals are due on March 2, 2022 at noon (ET).

FOR (NEU) CITIES: The US Treasury recently moved the deadline for submission of the first project and expenditure report from October 31, 2021 to April 30, 2022. City account, designated roles, and info should be submitted before the April deadline. Check out KLC's guide and more info, HERE. 

FOR COUNTIES: The US Treasury moved the deadline for submission of the first project and expenditure report from October 31, 2021 to January 31, 2022.

Reminder for Community Leaders! - If you have any additional comments or want to add any specific project ideas, please let us know. 
 
Want a jumpstart on the upcoming funding cycle? - Due to the tornado events in December, federal hazard mitigation funding will soon become available. Contact Mr. John David May about preparing for the Mitigation Action Form (MAF) application in the state's system. 
GRANT OPPORTUNITIES
  • The grant application deadline for FY 2021 Assistance to Firefighters has been extended to January  21, 2022. Click HERE to learn more. 
  • The FY 2021 Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) Grant Program application period opened on Monday, January 3, at 8 am (ET) and closes on Friday, February 4, at 5 pm (ET). Click HERE to learn more and for upcoming training webinars.
