GRANT AWARD
Grayson County has been awarded a Law Enforcement Protection Program Grant for $7,315 from the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security.  The grant is to be used to purchase eleven body armor vests for the Grayson County Sheriff's Office.

CASE MANGER/SOCIAL WORKER
 
Multi-jurisdictional, planning and development agency seeking a motivated and client oriented individual to provide assessment and case management services, including home visits, for elderly and disabled individuals in the Lincoln Trail region. Position will be working in a variety of programs including Medicaid waivers, Older Americans Act programs, and any other programs provided by the agency.  Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, RN, or a related field.  Applicants with Bachelor’s Degree in other fields must have two years of experience working with the elderly/disabled.  Specific areas of work include, assessment, case management, and care planning.  Must be able to handle multiple tasks, projects and programs simultaneously and be team oriented.  Job requires proficiency with Microsoft Office software and knowledge of human services programs.

This training event which includes seven of the FHWA Proven Safety Countermeasures and a review of Kentucky's Strategic Highway Safety Plan. The program is eligible for 9.5 hours of training credit for the Department of Local Government.  No cost for local government.

Land Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) Grant

Applications Due May 29, 2020
LWCF used to protect important natural areas, acquire land for outdoor recreation and to develop or renovate public outdoor recreation facilities.
