We are thrilled that we have already received several registrations from Germany, Turkey, Austria, South Korea, Finland and the United States for the 6th IAWM Conference And still we* create.
REGISTRATION FOR CONFERENCE AND GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The registration is now available online at iawm2021.space. Please register even if you are not sure yet if you can attend in person or virtually. It is important for all further planning.

CALL FOR BITS AND BYTES ON BIRTH CULTURE (SEPT 1)
Have you already worked on birth cultures in your museum? Are you interested in presenting your project in the "Bits and Bytes" format (10 minutes) during the conference? Please send your proposals to iawm@frauenmuseum.at by 25 June 2021 including
- your name
- function at the museum or initiative
- short biography (100 words)
- title and short description of the presentation (250 words)
We will include up to 5 contributions in the program. The selection will be made by our cooperation partner, IG Geburtskultur a-z. The association is committed to an interdisciplinary and cultural view of human birth.
HYBRID PROGRAM (DIGITAL AND IN-PERSON)
The colorful program of the public conference part (August 31 and September 1) can be experienced live by all interested people either in person in Hittisau or online from home. The online conference will take place at the same time and in the same scope. Events are broadcast live from Hittisau or designed as specially developed formats for the digital. Details of the program are available online at iawm2021.space/program2021.
The second part of the conference (September 2 and 3) will be dedicated to the IAWM. Please check the homepage regularly for all updates.
GENERAL ASSEMBLY (DIGITAL ONLY)
It is very important for us to guarantee a parity of requirements for all participants all over the world. Therefore, the GA will take place on two days: TUE, 1-4pm CET and THU, 2-4,30 pm CET.
The GA will take place only virtually.
CANDIDATES FOR THE NEW IAWM BOARD AND MUSEUM REPRESENTATIVES FOR ELECTIONS
Nine candidates applied for the new board. Are you curious who that might be? The candidate's bios will soon be online at iawm2021.space.
Please remember to nominate your voting representative - only the representative of a full member is entitled to vote. Please send the name to info@iawm.international.
According to the statues you need to pay your fees in order to be entitled to vote.
THE WORLD OF WOMEN'S MUSEUMS: PRESENTATION OF YOUR MUSEUM ON CONFERENCE WEBSITE
The conference website will give your museum or initiative the possibility to be visible for a worldwide audience. How is that possible? We will offer a presentation space for you on iawm2021@space. Therefore we kindly ask you to send the following to iawm@frauenmuseum.at by 31 July 2021:
- a picture representing your museum
AND
- an image video (up to 5 minutes) or
- a PPT or
- a PDF.
