Over 220 teams have participated in Wisconsin American Legion Baseball in the past and we look forward to having new teams adding to those numbers in the upcoming season.
Teams can begin play as soon as registration is completed and WIAA rules allow and culminate with State Tournaments in 5 classes of competition.
The Jrs. Tournament will be held on July 22-26 with Lomira hosting the 16u and Plover hosting the 17u Tournament. The Srs. Tournaments for Class A and AA will be held July 29-August 2 with Viroqua hosting Class A and Fort Atkinson hosting Class AA, and these State Champions competing in the Central Plains Tournament. The Class AAA Tournament will be hosted by Sheboygan July 26-30 and the top 2 teams will advance to the National Regional in Midland, MI with a chance to advance to the American Legion World Series in Shelby, NC. State Tournament qualifiers are determined by the winners of the 7 Regional tournaments in each class held 1 week prior to the State Tournaments.
2022 will also be the 50th American Legion Baseball AllStar Game hosted by the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field following the Brewers game on August 7th. Players and coaches will be introduced on the field in the Brewers pregame festivities. Wisconsin is the only state that has their AllStar Game in a Major League ballpark, and we thank the Milwaukee Brewers for their continued support of American Legion Baseball.
Participants in Wisconsin American Legion Baseball are eligible for scholarship consideration from the state and national organization.
