We pray this finds you doing well! We miss you, but continue to be grateful for the opportunities we have to connect online. We continue to pray for God's guidance and wisdom as we take steps forward toward our new normal. Here are a few important updates from your church family:
  • Vacation Bible School: VBS has been canceled for this summer. However, Mrs. Bekah is working on some other fun activities for this summer. Stay tuned!
  • World Changers: The youth group's World Changers trip in June has been canceled.
  • Super Summer and Kansas Bible Camps: Our camps in July are still moving forward! Super Summer for students in 6th-12th grades is set for July 13-17th. Kansas Bible Camp for grades 3rd-8th is set for July 27th-31st. Please note that the status of camps is subject to change.
  • Business Meeting: Your Deacons and Advisory Board continue to meet virtually and oversee the operations of the church. A quarterly business meeting will be held via Zoom in early May. More specific information on this will be available soon.
  • Worship Gatherings: Your staff and leadership are working on how and when to reopen safely. We continue to abide by local orders and await further instructions from local authorities regarding group gatherings. Meanwhile, please join us for our online worship service via Facebook Live every Sunday morning at 10:15 a.m.!
Please also continue to pray for the church's Pastoral Search Committee.

Updates from the Field
News from the Palmers in Cameroon: "In the midst of ongoing civil unrest and a global pandemic, God’s work continues at Mbingo Baptist Hospital in Cameroon. In preparation for COVID-19 patients, Dr. Dennis Palmer is working hard to complete an oxygen system that is essential for the care of COVID-19 patients, as well as others struggling with respiratory issues. Power outages have also once again punctuated the importance of the completion of the hydro-electric project at the hospital. Dr. Palmer is hopeful that if the funds are available this project could be completed this year. The photo is of a small groundbreaking ceremony for the diesel generator switch house, an important step in the completion of the hydroelectric project. Please pray for this ongoing work, and if you are able, visit our special project page where you can give to either the oxygen system or the hydroelectric project."

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
