NEW SHOW AT THE RVT
So excited to be bringing another new episode to the RVT on Wednesday 23 September - the arty classic "Paint Me A Murder". Passionate and lustful painters (like there's another kind!) invite Jessica Fletcher to a remote Mediterranean island where mischief and murder ensue! Expect Cesar Romero, Capucine and calamity!
CAN'T FLETCHER OUT OF MY HEAD
Some of you may have noticed my slight Australian accent, so it was particularly delightful to bring "Southern Double-Cross" to the RVT on 26 August. Teams submitted amazing Down Under-themed names (including the title above and "It's a G'day for a Murder"). And great work by new fangela Hugh (pictured above) playing "Kylie"!

FLETCHER FAMILY TREE
The rather fabulous blog Murder She Watched has put together a detailed family tree for our JB - clearing up issues about nephew and niece numbers and how she ended up with an identical twin cousin in London. Geektastic!

BOOK REVIEW: FIVE LITTLE PIGS
With "Paint Me A Murder" coming soon I thought I'd revisit Agatha Christie's take on the cut-throat art world. Five Little Pigs (aka Murder In Retrospect) sees Poirot re-open a 16 year-old case, by asking the five suspects to write their account of the day of the crime. It's ingenious, gripping and considered by critics to be her best book (and weirdly, among the least well-known). Highly recommended.
DAME ANGELA IN LOCKDOWN
So great to see this pic circulating on Twitter, of our heroine Dame Angela Lansbury in Malibu in August this year, mask and sunglasses at the ready during these crazy times. Hooray!
80s CELEBRATION RETURNS
If you're pining for some 80s magic, then the fabulous club night Athena is returning to the Eagle nightclub this Saturday 5 September. Dancing isn't allowed, but the venue is a terrific lounge bar (with ice cream!) and the night promises campy visuals and your own mini-magazine, where you can determine which Dynasty Diva you are (I got Alexis). See you there!
CHRISTMAS IN CABOT COVE
Incredibly there is only one Murder, She Wrote episode set at Xmas time and given that pantos fill theatres at yuletide I've only performed it once. Watch this space though, "A Christmas Secret" might be heading to a theatre near you soon ...

FOR WHOM THE POLL TELLS
We're having our first Solve-Along-A survey - wait, come back! There's a chance to win a Murder, She Wrote mug and it's only 8 questions long. We hate surveys too - but we hope you'll summon your inner Jessica and fill it out anyway.

PAST NEWSLETTERS
I've been asked where fangelas might be able to read our past newsletters - simply click here for more nonsense from my camp imagination!
